someone warm me up please

Heck I'm chilled to the bone and just cannot warm up. We've had a dusting of snow too...admittedly it's not much but it is still snow and as I live in a town built entirely on steep hills, then it's a pain. No matter where I go it involves a hill - if you'd seen me walking the dogs this afternoon then you could have made money sending the video into the telly... 2 dogs pulling madly on the lead whilst I shuffled along like a 90yr old screaming at the top of my voice ' don't pull, it's slippy, please.please stop'. Embarrassing really. And to cap it off, is this not the day that the electricity people turned up to replace the power head on the mains supply. Took them 5 hrs and they had my hall carpet and floorboards up. Power had to be switched off for 1 1/2 hrs and the heating obviously went off with it too. Even when switched on the water had cooled (I've got water radiators for my heating) and had to come back up. As a result I got thoroughly cold and I just can't warm myself up no matter how close to the radiator I sit or how many jumpers I put on. Off to see if a nice hot cocoa will help thaw me out.

Ellie

Basically this is just a (very, very) long delayed hello to anyone who ends up here. I've been on here for a good while now but never got round to posting anything on my own page, rather I've just lurked and posted in the fandoms that interest me. Both rude and lazy of me... so 'hi' all and I promise I'll try to at least post something occasionally. Can't promise anything witty, intelligent or insightful but you never know your luck !!!

Ellie
